On to week three! I hope you enjoy these simple to make recipes.
Disclaimer, these recipes are not original to me. I didn’t create them…I just love making them. I enjoy being able to share other bloggers recipes and I hope you will check out their content as well. Here is our meal plan for the upcoming week. Let me know which meals you try and which ones you enjoy the most!
WEEK 3
Sunday – Leftovers
If you don’t already, it’s important that you and your family eat leftovers. Not only is it a financial saver but it also gives mama a break during the week. Gather all of those odd and end leftover containers in your fridge and have a leftover night. You would be surprised…some dishes are even better the second and third time.
Monday – Sausage, Lentil Soup
This is one of my all time favorite soups. I always use my homemade bone broth which I think takes any soup up a notch. Lentils are such a tasty and healthy food to add to your soups. Give this filling soup a try and I’m sure you will make it again and again.
Tuesday – Baked Ziti
This is actually a recipe that is a new one for me this week. Italian dishes are not my typical go to recipes but I am on a mission to add some new recipes to our family’s meal rotation. I am excited to try this recipe paired with some salad.
Wednesday – Shrimp Tacos
Everyone needs to have some shrimp in their meal plans every once in awhile in my opinion. 🙂 And what better way to enjoy them than on a taco. These tacos are light and refreshing. We pair them with some organic chips and salsa and there are no complaints around the dinner table.
Thursday – Classic Chili
Chili is a comfort food. There is just something about warm, hearty chili in a bowl that makes you feel at home. We shred some raw cheese on top and enjoy some organic chips on the side. This is a quick meal that you can throw together on those evenings you are short on time.
Friday – Chicken Lettuce Wraps
If you have read my other weekly meal plans you know by now that my week is not complete without some type of Asian recipe. These chicken lettuce wraps are sure to please your crew. We love to make a pot of rice to add to our wrap and have some cut up cucumbers on the side.
Saturday – Baked Meatballs and Veggies
This recipe is super simple to follow and both adults and kids love the taste of these seasoned meatballs. We usually pair our meatballs with a couple of vegetables and maybe some sauerkraut on the side and you have a well rounded meal.
Grocery List
When shopping for this grocery list don’t feel pressure to have every single spice or garnish if you don’t currently have them stocked in your home. Many of these recipes can be customizable to your liking.
